Please, take a moment to review our policies and guidelines before making a reservation or purchase. Familiarizing yourself with these details ensures a smooth and enjoyable experience. By understanding our policies, we can better serve you and provide the highest level of hospitality during your stay.
All reservations will be secured with a 50% advance deposit. The remaining balance due will be charged 2 weeks prior to arrival. If your stay is within the next 30 days, at the time of booking, the reservation total will be charged immediately.
Cancellations greater than 30 days in advance of arrival will receive a refund of your deposit, less a $25.00 processing fee.
Since you are reserving a vacation home, and not a hotel room, trip insurance is encouraged.
Rates do not include the 10% Resort fee or the 13% Taxes.
Guest check-in is anytime after 4:00 pm and departure is anytime before 10:00 am.
Contactless check-in is available for all guests.
The Cottages on Charleston Harbor is a NON-SMOKING, NO Vaping property. If your cottage has been smoked or vaped in
a minimum fee of $500.00 will be charged to your account upon check-out.
It is mandatory to get prior approval if you are bringing a pet or service animal, only our Lagoon Cottage is approved for pets or service animals. Pet fees do apply. If found with a non-approved pet in a cottage a minimum fee of $500 will be charged to your account.
The maximum occupancy in our two bedroom cottages is 4-6 guests. Cottages 2 occupancy is 4 guests. If found at any time during your stay that more than the maximum guests per cottage is violated, a minimum fee of $350.00 will be charged to your account.
Please note that we do not allow cottage parties over 12 people. We have five approved caterers. Good Food Catering, Relish, Cru, Hamby's and Salthouse Catering. We are happy to assist with catering information. We also have a link on our website in the Event Venues section. A minimum fee of $1100.00 will posted to your guest account if an unauthorized party is found in your cottage.
Parking availability is two cars per cottage. Please let us know IN advance of your arrival how many cars and gate passes you will need. Unfortunately, last minute notifications cannot always be accommodated.
Service Animals and Pets. While we welcome your four legged family member, the State of South Carolina does permit us to ask what service your animal performs for you. We expect Service Animals, Emotional Support Animals and Pets to be well behaved, and on a leash at all times. We strive to provide an environment that gives our guests quiet relaxation, barking obviously disrupts this vibe.

Guests must pre-register their dog before arrival. These reservations are only available by phone, and our concierge looks forward to ensuring you and your four-legged family member enjoy the best stay possible. Guests arriving without a pre-registered pet will not be able to stay. Reservations with pets must be booked by phone at 843-849-2300.
