Wedding Ceremonies & Receptions

Charleston is a top wedding destination, and The Cottages on Charleston Harbor offers two event venues and accommodations to make your day unforgettable. Our lush event spaces provide beautiful waterfront views and the calming sounds of water, with Charleston Harbor as your stunning backdrop.

We cater to intimate gatherings and weddings, with our two lawn areas overlooking the harbor. Our largest event space, the Grand Lawn, can accommodates between 125 -150 guests. Located adjacent to Cottage one, this space includes access to the waterfront area attached to Cottage 1, 2 &  3.  Our Harborside Lawn, located on the waterside of Cottages 4, 5, and 6 can accommodate between 60 - 70 guests. We do require groups to rent the three Cottages adjoining the event space to ensure privacy for your intimate affair.

Site & cottage rental includes the event space and your accommodations in the Cottages, other items such as tent, tables, chairs, flatware, plates, etc. will be arranged with your catering team. Call for rates, cottage details, and to schedule a tour.

Multi-Generational Retreats

With truly something for everyone, gathering the family for much needed shared quality time with a family reunion becomes an exciting reality. Charleston, South Carolina offers exciting attractions, beautiful local beaches, and captivating historical sites. Our accommodations provide a unique opportunity to gather family together.  The two bedroom, three bath design of our Cottages provides ample space and comfort, while providing a living space perfect for reminiscing with family and creating memories.  The clubhouse, and pool with covered deck space provide another fun mingling space. 

Arrangements can be made with our events team to use one of our waterside lawn spaces providing a great opportunity to bring everyone together at once.  Entertainment for the whole family can be provided with our partner, Beach and Games to Go, choose from outdoor ping pong, cornhole, horseshoes, and much more. Our Concierge services help coordinate delivery to ensure you have the most enjoyable vacation possible. For watersports, Coastal Expeditions offers group kayaking tours, boat charters and paddle boarding lessons. Create a fun itinerary that brings the generations together.

Our catering partners can assist with onsite breakfasts, luncheons, and dinners, including Lowcountry Broils, BBQs, or Taco Tuesdays. Contact our events team and create the perfect family fun for your crew.
