Dining in
Mount Pleasant, South Carolina

Many come to South Carolina for the food. Mount Pleasant has the best grits you'll ever have! Many of the restaurants offer outdoor dining areas, festive dockside oyster roasts, and fresh seafood from the dock. Every meal here is an event itself that will bring a smile to your face and your appetite satisfied!

CAMELLIAS

As colorful as its namesake flower, Camellias is Charleston’s premier Champagne Lounge, featuring an extensive collection of bottle and by-the-glass offerings paired with a decadent selection of caviar, ceviche and tartare. Additionally, Camellias offers a champagne-inspired cocktail program and a collection of delectable desserts, including the signature Camellias Cake. The stunning pink hue reflects a piece of Charleston history: marble that once clad the library building where Hotel Bennett stands. The marble was reclaimed, restored and now graces the bar and tabletops. The egg-shaped room design was inspired by the famous Faberge jewel boxes and features four pieces of art that depict the Camellia flower. Reflective finishes, including an etched-mirror ceiling and beautiful strings of crystal cascading from the chandelier, add both shimmer and style to the atmosphere.

Gabrielle

Hotel Bennett complies with the latest food and beverage regulations issued by the City of Charleston and the South Carolina Department of Health and Environmental Control. With a menu inspired by French and Mediterranean influences, we create classic and comfortable dishes brimming with fresh, locally sourced ingredients. Savor a meal overlooking Marion Square on Gabrielle’s sweeping Plaza, or in its vibrant bar and dining room.

LA PÂTISSERIE

La Pâtisserie opens early, offering sweet and savory pastries, alongside a full coffee bar. Throughout the day, it presents a selection of sandwiches crafted with artisanal bread, prepared sides and sweet delicacies, like macarons and éclairs. And, of course, it is the only place to go for a slice of the famed Camellias cake.

Virginia's on King
